CTS Townhall: A Resounding Success in Fostering Unity and Recognizing Exceptional Contributions

On 23 June, CTS was abuzz with excitement as employees gathered at the CAG Auditorium for the highly anticipated 2023 CTS Townhall. Packed with informative sessions and engaging activities, the Townhall session aimed to provide employees with a comprehensive update on the company’s progress and future plans. The event also served as a platform for employees to interact with senior leaders and ask questions about the organisation’s direction.

The event kicked off with an inspiring opening speech by General Manager Ng Yan Sheng, who provided a comprehensive Business Review along with the targets for the upcoming fiscal year 2023/24. The speech set the tone for the event, emphasising the company’s achievements and outlining its strategic vision for the future.

The event’s agenda included a captivating talk on Anti-Bribery by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB). The session aimed to heighten awareness among employees about the significance of ethical practices and their role in upholding a corruption-free work environment. The informative talk also provided practical insights and essential tips on identifying and preventing bribery in the workplace.

Following the CPIB session, the Internal Controls Team took centrestage with an engaging and thought-provoking ABMS Skit. The skit, designed to highlight the significance of internal controls, showcased real-life scenarios and demonstrated how effective controls can safeguard the organisation against risks. The team’s performance garnered enthusiastic applause from the audience and effectively conveyed the importance of internal controls in ensuring operational efficiency.

An additional highlight of the event was the CTS Recognition Award. Three outstanding employees: Loh Yi Fang, Jason Tan, and Nicole Lim, were honoured with this prestigious award. These three winners, who garnered five compliments from at least three different Business Units over the past six months, have demonstrated their commitment to going the extra mile to help others beyond their job scope and responsibilities. So kudos, and keep up the good work!

The event then culminated into a dynamic Q&A Session, giving employees the opportunity to seek clarifications on the topics discussed throughout the event. The interactive session facilitated open dialogue between employees and management, promoting transparency and encouraging communication within the organisation.

After the Q&A, The Townhall concluded with a well-deserved lunch buffet at one of CTS’ offices where everyone could connect, network, and discuss their ideas in a relaxing and casual setting.

CTS extends our heartfelt appreciation to all the teams who wholeheartedly participated and contributed to the success of the Townhall Event. The event not only imparted valuable knowledge but also reinforced the company’s commitment to fostering a culture of integrity, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Thank you, everyone, for being there, and we will see you in the next Townhall!
